Where to take a taxi from Montparnasse station? : The station is located just outside the station. Meet and greet service at the station
The SNCF has introduced a service in some major stations - including Paris Montparnasse - which allows 1st class passengers to book a taxi with the ticket inspector. On arrival at the station, a small "Taxis réservés" reception desk is the meeting point with the driver. It is, of course, possible to take the same action at a central booking office... In both cases, it is important to be clear about any charges involved. A final solution is to use a VTC or shared station shuttle service at a fixed price.
Getting to Orly or Paris de Gaulle by bus or train from the station
Other means of transport are available to get to Paris Orly or Paris Roissy Charles de Gaulle airports from Montparnasse station.
- RATP's Orlybus service takes you to the centre of Paris (Place Denfert-Rochereau) in around thirty minutes. A single ticket costs €11.5 (2024).
- It is also possible to take the Metro and then the RER B to Orly (connecting with Antony by Orlyval) or Roissy (€14.5 for a one-way adult ticket).
